My name
is Lilla Furin. I live in Miskolc and I'm currently studying at
Debrecen University of Medicine.
I got
to know the Border Collie breed in 1999 due to an article of a
magazine.
Unfortunately that time I personally hadn't met a dog of this kind.
Later in
2001 I saw the first border collie of my life at a show. The dog was
with a young girl in the ring. I was very pleased to see the the
correspondence
between them: how the dog was hanging on its owner's every word and
responded.
In 2002 I
got a pup, Buttercup Paco Passo from that dog.
I fell
into the "dog-world" with Paco. We have been to many places
and situations together. I engaged myself to the breed due to him. He
is a very
intelligent dog, with a strong personality, good problemsolving
ability. He has
shown his knowlidge in numerous places: obedience exercises, show,
herding,
agility, tracking.
In 2006, a
acquaintance
of mine, Györgyi Marosán told me about her plans of a
litter. I
didn't have to think about it for a long time, I felt I needed a
puppy from this litter. That's how Diamond of Whitecastle Angela came
to us in February 2007,
in
joint ownership with Györgyi.
Nana
is
exceptionally active, and also very intelligent dog. Nevertheless she
has a
very good build. She showed it already on her very first show at the
age of 4
months, where she became Very promising No.1 at Judith Gregory in Baby
class,
then she became Baby Best In Show too.
Besdies
that she is a wonderful family dog who is always seeking new tasks.
My breeding goal is to preserve the character and look of this amazing
breed
and to have healthy puppies born in our kennel.
If you'd like to buy a border collie, you should consider it very
much. This breed does not settle for a few rubs on the head in the
backyard.
They need a lot of movement and even more activity. If they get it all,
the
owner gets a very lovely, energetic animal who is always ready to act
when needed.
